THE LAKE

At the center of it all sits Big Bear Lake — a rare high-altitude body of water that transforms endurance training, recovery, and performance into something entirely different.

At over 6,700 feet, this isn’t just a lake.
It’s an advantage.

OPEN WATER. REAL CONDITIONS.

Big Bear Lake offers athletes the opportunity to train in true open-water conditions at altitude — something few locations in North America can match.

  • Open Water Swimming – endurance, breath control, and race simulation
  • Rowing & Sculling – altitude-adapted power and aerobic output
  • Kayaking & Paddle Sports – upper body strength and stability
  • Triathlon Training – integrated swim environments with immediate bike/run access
  • Cold Water Exposure – natural recovery and resilience training

From calm mornings to wind-driven chop, the lake provides dynamic, real-world conditions that prepare athletes for competition — not just controlled environments.

WHERE ENDURANCE MEETS ELEMENT

Training on water at altitude challenges the body differently — increasing cardiovascular demand while building efficiency, control, and mental focus.

  • Improved oxygen utilization and stamina
  • Enhanced breath control under load
  • Full-body endurance and coordination
  • Mental resilience in variable conditions

This is where athletes learn to stay steady, strong, and efficient — even when conditions shift.
