THE TRAILS

Big Bear’s trail system is one of Southern California’s most expansive and diverse high-altitude networks — a connected landscape of singletrack, fire roads, alpine routes, and endurance corridors designed for performance.

This isn’t one trail.
It’s a system.

RUN. RIDE. REPEAT.

At 6,000–8,000+ feet, the trails deliver the perfect combination of altitude, distance, and terrain variability — making them ideal for athletes across disciplines.

  • Trail Running & Ultra Training – sustained mileage, elevation gain, race simulation
  • Mountain Biking (XC, Enduro, Downhill) – flow trails, technical descents, endurance loops
  • Cycling (Road Access Connections) – seamless transitions between road and trail
  • Hiking & Rucking – load-bearing performance and long-duration effort
  • Nordic & Winter Trails – snow-based endurance and cross-training

From recovery miles to peak conditioning blocks, the trails adapt to the athlete — not the other way around.

BUILT FOR ENDURANCE

The trail network offers hundreds of miles of connected routes, allowing athletes to train for distance, elevation, and time on feet — all at altitude.

  • Long climbs that build aerobic capacity and strength
  • Rolling terrain for pace control and sustained effort
  • Technical sections for agility and coordination
  • Open stretches for intervals and speed work

Every mile compounds. Every session builds.
