GYMNASIUMS, DOJOS, & CAMPS

Big Bear Lake offers a full network of fields, courts, tracks, and gymnasiums — supported through strong partnerships with Big Bear Valley Parks & Recreation, local schools, and private facility operators — giving teams and athletes the structured environments needed to train, compete, and perform at altitude.

TRAIN WITH INTENT

Through partnerships with Big Bear Valley Recreation & Park District, local schools, and private training operators, The Sports Office provides access to a range of indoor and controlled environments:


  • Full Gymnasiums – basketball, volleyball, team drills, and conditioning
  • Martial Arts & Dojo Spaces – MMA, boxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, and striking
  • Mat Rooms & Training Floors – grappling, mobility, and sport-specific programming
  • Camp-Based Training Environments – structured team camps, clinics, and intensives
     

These spaces allow athletes to focus on precision, repetition, and execution — all while benefiting from altitude adaptation.

FOR COMBAT, TEAM & PERFORMANCE SPORTS

These environments support a wide range of disciplines:


  • MMA, Boxing & Wrestling Camps – fight prep, sparring, and conditioning
  • Jiu-Jitsu & Grappling – technical development and mat time
  • Basketball & Volleyball Training – skill work, team play, and drills
  • Youth & Elite Camps – development pathways and high-performance intensives
  • Strength & Conditioning Blocks – integrated with HATC programming
