HOLCOMB VALLEY PINNACLES

Located above Big Bear Lake, the Holcomb Valley Pinnacles are one of Southern California’s most iconic rock climbing and bouldering destinations — a rugged granite formation where altitude, technique, and grit come together.

This is more than a viewpoint.
It’s a vertical training ground.

CLIMB. BOULDER. REPEAT.

At over 7,000 feet, the Holcomb Valley Pinnacles offer a rare combination of high-altitude exposure and technical granite routes — ideal for climbers, athletes, and teams looking to build strength, precision, and control.

  • Sport & Traditional Climbing – vertical faces, cracks, and technical lines
  • Bouldering Fields – power, movement, and problem-solving
  • Natural Granite Terrain – varied grip, footwork, and real-world conditions
  • Altitude Advantage – increased demand, deeper adaptation

From beginner routes to advanced problems, the Pinnacles provide a progressive climbing environment that challenges every level.

A PROVING GROUND FOR ALL ATHLETES

While rooted in climbing, the Pinnacles are used across disciplines for functional strength, grip, and mental resilience.

  • Combat athletes train grip and explosive movement
  • Endurance athletes integrate climbs into altitude circuits
  • Tactical teams use terrain for load-bearing and agility

It’s raw. It’s technical. It’s earned.
