Join The Sports Office, the High Altitude Training Center, and Visit Big Bear as we officially welcome the U.S. Rowing Team who have selected Big Bear as their high-altitude training home leading up to the LA28 Olympic Games.
This isn’t just an announcement.
It’s the beginning of a three-year journey and you’re invited to be part of day one.

On the Water: A Rare Lake Experience
Before the main event begins, step onto Big Bear Lake for something you won’t find again this season.
A limited number of guests will join members of the U.S. Rowing Team aboard the iconic Time Bandit Pirate Ship—getting a firsthand look at the very waters where Ol`ympic preparation will unfold.
Boat Ride Time Slots:
- 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
- 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
